World of Warcraft: The Black Gate Is Now Open in Raid Finder

The portal is open. The Black Gate is now open in Raid Finder difficulty! Blizzard announced yesterday that the final wing of Hellfire Citadel, the Black Gate, is now open for business on the raid finder.

The Black Gate is a Dungeons & Raids achievement earned for defeating Archimonde in Hellfire Citadel. Hellfire Citadel opened for business on June 23rd and has been gradually unlocking difficulties and raid finder options over the course of the summer.

The Raid Finder, accessed through the Group Finder, is a tool that helps players find and join a random or specific raid instance with others. The feature was first released in patch 4.3.0 for Dragon Soul as a permanent addition to the raiding system, and has been included in all subsequent instanced raids.    Cheapest Wow Gold Online

World of Warcraft: Legion Might Be Playable at BlizzCon

World of Warcraft developer Blizzard confirms that the upcoming Legion expansion might be playable at BlizzCon later this year, especially since it’s currently in an internal alpha test phase. However, the studio is still tight-lipped about the big add-on.

Blizzard shared quite a lot of different details about its upcoming projects earlier this year. Among them, the biggest was World of Warcraft: Legion, the next expansion for the long running multiplayer online role-playing game.

The studio shared plenty of details about the new mechanics, the Demon Hunter class, or the increased level cap, and now it’s gotten back to focusing on the final stages of its development.

According to Game Director Tom Chilton, who talks with MMOGames, the title is currently in an internal alpha stage and it’s scheduled to reach beta status later this year.

If everything goes smoothly, Chilton expects that Legion might be playable, in one form or another, at BlizzCon this fall. However, he can’t promise anything, but he did say that it will be showcased during various events to fans from all over the world.

At the same time, he also pledges to share more details and new mechanics in the following months, so that fans can have a better idea of the expansion.

Right now, World of Warcraft: Legion is set to launch next year for the popular MMORPG.     Best place to buy wow gold

WildStar’s free-to-play closed beta is live and ready for sign-ups

Did you hear the news? WildStar is scrapping subscriptions and going free-to-play this fall. Before we get there though, there’s a closed beta, and that’s going on right now. It’s time to sign yourself up.

The closed beta is only available for those with WildStar account who are opted in for a beta key. There’s still time to sign up, but best hurry before those gates slam shut. You can provide your details here if you don’t have a WildStar account already.

As ever with betas, it’s a test environment so don’t expect the smoothest of rides, but Carbine are looking for all kinds of feedback on how the newly reinvented WildStar is doing. Obviously a lot of it will be familiar if you’ve played the game in its subscription form, but you’ll be able to investigate the new cosmetics store and get your head around the OmniBit currency. There’s also the revamped character stats to take a look at, and the newly streamlined dungeons. You can read the full feature set over at the WildStar forums.

Our Jeremy recently had a chat with Carbine to find out exactly how they plan on fixing WildStar for the new free-to-play landscape.   Best Wildstar Gold Online

‘World of Warcraft,’ ‘Call of Duty’ and Other Big Announcements

Europe’s premier trade fair for interactive games and entertainment and the world’s largest gaming event, wrapped up Sunday in Cologne, Germany, after a five-day event that boasted record attendance, representatives from some 40 countries, a lot of gaming and some big reveals.

Virtual reality, 3-D glasses and e-sports were the featured products this year, according to Deutsche Welle. The fair included some of the biggest names in the gaming industry.

This year’s biggest reveals. Among the mostly highly anticipated announcements were the reveal of World of Warcraft: Legion and some big news on the Call of Duty: Black Ops III front.

Blizzard Entertainment unveiled World of Warcraft: Legion, the online game’s sixth expansion, according to IGN Entertainment.

“The expansion will revolve around the invasion of the Burning Legion with other features including the new Broken Isles Continent, a level cap raise to 110, a new dungeons and raids, new Honor System, new Artifact Weapons like Ashbringer, Class Order Halls and a New Hero Class-Demon Hunter,” IGN reports.    Sale Best Wow gold –

This Is World of Warcraft’s Monumental New Expansion

You’re going toe to toe with the Burning Legion in the next expansion, World of Warcraft wonks. On a mammoth green-backlit stage, wearing black button-ups with arcane symbology, Blizzard’s creative leads unveiled the studio’s sixth expansion to its 11-year-old online fantasy opus in Cologne.

It’s called World of Warcraft: Legion, and the usual expansion upticks apply: a 10 level character ceiling bump to 110 (and the option to boost one character to level 100), the obligatory new dungeons, raids and world bosses, overhauled PvP progression, new “artifact” weapons (36 total, one for each specialization, customizable, and they get more powerful as you do), class order halls, a new mobility-focused hero class (Demon Hunter, can glide-attack and double-jump, ) and a new continent to explore.

Blizzard says that continent, dubbed the Broken Isles and extant in the lore, lies at the heart of Azeroth, calling it a “long forgotten graveyard continent” and “formerly a bustling Night Elves civilization.” It’s draw is the tomb of Sargeras, another throwback lore point harboring the well-known creator/leader of the Burning Crusade, last seen in a convoluted flashback circa Blizzard’s pre-World of Warcraft real-time strategy entry Warcraft III: The Frozen Throne. Sargeras’s tomb is apparently an active gateway to endless legion worlds, a demonic invasion Blizzard described as bigger than the War of the Ancients, and “the biggest demonic invasion of Azeroth ever.”

The studio also highlighted what it called a bridging cinematic (video below), linking the last expansion, Warlords of Draenor, to Legion. In it, you can see Gul’dar (the hooded orc) exploring the tomb and unearthing Sargeras himself, locked in that giant semi-translucent block of green.

World of Warcraft subscriptions have fallen dramatically over the past few years, most recently dropping from 7.1 million to 5.6 million players. In a recent earnings call, Activision said the game is still the top subscription-based title in the world. Buy  Wow gold cheaper

New World of Warcraft expansion premieres Thursday

While Blizzard are hosting a press conference this Wednesday in Cologne (at noon local time), that particular press conference will not be livestreamed (as far as we know).

The big reveal, the new World of Warcraft expansion, will however be premiered and livestream on Thursday (the first public day of the show) at 17:00 BST (18:00 CET).

Blizzard (as per usual) have a rather massive stage schedule with cosplay competitions, tournaments and panels planned for the show-and you can check the details over on Blizzard’s Gamescom site. Hopefully we’ll have the livestream available here on the Gamereactor Live page on Thursday. At least we aim to have it. -Best wow gold online
